Little and Big Edie's Fitzgeraldian mansion is viewed a la the documentary, through an old style film haze and daze. The brothers Maysles documentary's beginning is awesome, as the film becomes the headline and it introduces us to the music, which carried over well into the feature adaptation. Admidst fashion tips and anti-hero quarreling the Edies develop real-life themes of innocence, teen angst, and buddies.
Jeanne Tripplehorn played a firm role as Jackie O. Because the last pun was intended that one will not be. I felt it brought the Kennedy situation into it a little better, but it was also necessary because this time around it wasn't a documentary. I'll hand it to Michael Sucsy, good casting, good story, good ect.
