Happy 90th
I don't thing this book is unfilmable, and sometimes I think that argument comes from a romantic view of the book and of the Beat Generation. So, for Kerouac's 90th and (perhaps) in the spirit of The Motorcycle Diaries, Walter Salles takes to the road again. If he has somehow adapted On the Road up to the caliber that David Cronenberg did Naked Lunch in 1991 may have a winner. Talk about unfilmable.
Sure, Kristen Stewart is all over this trailer. But will Viggo Mortensen's old Bull Lee be as much a show-stopper as Peter Weller's Bill Lee? What do you think about the movie adaptation of On the Road?
